Trip Overview
This 3days and 2nights will cover Akagera national where a visitor will be able to discover the wildlife found in this savannah park such as big five, and other wildlife species, the visitor will also be able to do boat trip on one of the lakes found in Akagera where he/she will be able to see hippos, crocodile, and other aquatic species, after all activities the visitor will come back to Kigali as the end of the tour.

Itinerary
This day, you will be picked from Kigali International Airport according to your arrival, or from your hotel in Kigali after your breakfast , you will be picked by your driver guide and you will be transferred to Akagera National Park, It will take range of 2-3 hours, then when you reach into the park after registration and briefing at reception of the park, you will drive to the lodge for checking in and having lunch, you will relax afternoon while waiting for the time of starting night game drive.

Early morning after breakfast you will start to experience Akagera National Park as a Savannah park with different animals accordingly, you will start by experiencing behind the scene activities which will helps you to know more about the park from early before and current time, from there you will have full game drive by visiting different parts of the park for spotting different animals such as Elephants, Antelopes, Impala, zebras, Buffaloes, Giraffes, and so many others, you will have this game drive with packed lunch, because you will be having relax at picnic areas. Later you will enjoy sunset boat ride in Lake Ihema for viewing Hippos, crocodiles, some bird species and some scenic sun set.

We shall have yet another day of adventure within the park, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of Rwanda’s hilly landscape, comprised of a blend of wetland, savannah, and woodland, the natural forests also make quite a view. The location of the park shows that it lies at a lower altitude as compared to rest of the country, therefore meaning that it is not only warmer but drier. Some of the wildlife you will see here include Giraffes, Buffalos, and Elephants as well as a profusion of birds. If fortunate, we may be able to sight at the Shoebill Stork, especially around the shores of the lake. From here you will drive back to Kigali, Dinner, and overnight in Kigali

Tour Plan
Our “Skip the Line” access allows you to bypass the main ticket-purchasing line, which can often stretch for several hours, saving you a significant amount of your valuable time. Please note, however, that all visitors must pass through a mandatory airport-style security check. There may be a short queue for this security screening, which cannot be skipped.
Small backpacks and standard handbags are generally permitted inside after the security check. However, large bags, luggage, tripods, large umbrellas, and other bulky items are not allowed and must be checked. You will be required to leave these items at the complimentary cloakroom near the entrance before your tour begins and collect them upon exiting the park.
