Trip Overview
This 5 days and 4 nights will cover the following destinations Nyungwe, Karongi, Rubavu and Musanze, where you will be able to experience canopy walkway in Nyungwe national park, and visit Karongi destination where you will visit different islands and hike one of them which is Napoleon Island. We will end your tour in Musanze district where you will have an experience of Rwandan culture and have your lunch at one of the island found in Ruhondo lake as the end your tour and drive back to Kigali.

Itinerary
Wake up early at 5:00AM from your hotel in Kigali and meet with our drive guide for a short briefing and then start your tour to Nyungwe N.P. on thisday, you will set off towards the famous Nyungwe N.P. which is an untouched Rainforest, one of the largest forests in East and Central Africa. The forest is abundant with flora and fauna including 13 primate species from Colobus monkeys, Manga beys, blue monkeys and, of course, our cousins the chimpanzees. Nyungwe Forest is semi heaven for birders. With a little over 300 recorded bird species, 26 of which are endemic, making it one of the most important – and still little known – bird-watching destinations in Africa.Here will go for Canopy walk experience which takes place above a deep gorge cutting across the massive forest. Lasting about 1½ hours, the walk takes you through some beautiful foliage and animal habitats and you’ll have the chance to spot blue monkeys and unique birds that dwell in the upper levels of the forest then after we will drive to hotel for refreshment and dinner

Early the morning after breakfast, we will drive to Karongi via Rusizi town, on the road of the Kivu belt, where we will enjoy the rolling hills and amazing view of tea plantations
Arriving at Karongi will go boating to visit different islands in Kivu Lake, like Queen and King islands, Napoleon Island, and even to where German solders hidden their boat during the Second World War, then drive to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Have yourself an early tasty breakfast, after we will drive heading to via Gishwati-Mukura national park and Rubavu town, on the way you will be enjoying the lake view and the beautiful scenery such tea plantation and mountains. By arriving in Rubavu we have our lunch and after we will be able to visit the borders of Rwanda and Congo from there we will experience the hot spring and after drive to Musanze, by arriving we will check in the hotel and have dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Mountain gorilla view lodge.
Have yourself an early tasty breakfast, after which your driver guide will take you to the headquarters in the park by 7 am for a briefing. Later embark on the amazing adventure which is gorilla tracking, in most cases, this activity requires some physical fitness by the hikers.
On several occasions, it takes between 3 and 6 hours to trek, and trekkers are permitted to be with the gorillas for 1 hour. It is really a nice experience seeing them play, guard each other, feed among others. From there, we will pass by the gorilla guardian village for cultural experiences such as traditional dance, marriage, and other cultural elements. After, we will drive back to Kigali at the end of the tour, where you will be transferred to the airport or spend the night.

Tour Plan
Our “Skip the Line” access allows you to bypass the main ticket-purchasing line, which can often stretch for several hours, saving you a significant amount of your valuable time. Please note, however, that all visitors must pass through a mandatory airport-style security check. There may be a short queue for this security screening, which cannot be skipped.
Small backpacks and standard handbags are generally permitted inside after the security check. However, large bags, luggage, tripods, large umbrellas, and other bulky items are not allowed and must be checked. You will be required to leave these items at the complimentary cloakroom near the entrance before your tour begins and collect them upon exiting the park.
